ABOUT THIS JOURNAL

Clear ideas.
Your own decisions.

How the content, photographs, outfit wheel and local records work.

What this site is for

WearSpin combines outfit inspiration, everyday situations and a random-choice tool. It helps you organize possibilities and decide between them. It is not a personal styling assessment, clothing shop or live weather service. Style categories are editorial labels, not rules about who can wear a particular color, shape or combination.

How the content is made

The writing and scenario examples are AI-assisted, based on visible clothing in the photographs and the tool’s implemented features. No named fashion professional or long-term wearer study has reviewed the material. Planning examples are not presented as customer experiences, and photographed people are not represented as users or endorsers. Practical ideas are for you to try; emotional benefits describe possible individual experiences, not promised psychological or social results.

Updated November 1, 2026. The wheel includes 93 outfit bases, 92 distinct outfit photographs and 115 weather recipes; the journal also includes six detailed photo essays, twelve everyday situations, separate reading pages, a saved checklist and metric or imperial measurement input.

How selection works

Manually selected weather, occasion, photo collection, fit and outfit base are applied together. Library bases support both neat and relaxed versions: the written recipe and guidance change with the fit choice, while the photograph stays a reference. Men and Women are separate editorial photo collections. Single garments on hangers and isolated clothing details are excluded from the wheel and library. Collection labels describe the reference imagery, not a claim about anyone’s personal identity. Gentle walking means an easy everyday walk; it is not a running, gym or technical hiking recommendation. Actual weather takes priority over season: choosing Cool can include warm-layer ideas in autumn or spring. Season is a filter only when weather is set to Any. The outfit-base filter checks the written pieces for trousers, pants, jeans, chinos, shorts, jumpsuits, skirts or dresses; custom entries should use these English terms to match. Men and Women do not mix photographs. Unavailable secondary options are disabled; changing the collection or weather may broaden an incompatible base or occasion, with a visible explanation. Collection and weather are never silently changed to fill the wheel. Unchecked outfits are excluded. The recent-plans option further excludes outfits based on journal dates, including a plan already saved for tomorrow. Up to 12 matching outfits appear in each wheel set. Use Previous or Next looks to browse the other sets. Each outfit in the currently displayed set has an equal chance; candidates in other sets are not included in that spin. The shortlist numbers identify the current set. Photographs, prices and brands do not affect the probability.

Height, weight, temperature preference, indoor/outdoor setting, walking time and mood affect explanatory text only. They do not generate new outfits, infer clothing sizes or change the probability. Scenario links apply example conditions while preserving the photo collection; fit and base can be broadened. The outfit library offers searchable photographic cards and weather recipes. A library recipe link includes the chosen outfit, applies its weather, opens its preview, and displays the wheel set containing it. Look-detail links use the same catalog entry instead of adding a duplicate. Links to another collection explain the mismatch without switching it. Neither action automatically confirms tomorrow’s outfit.

Using this across countries and seasons

Choose your actual local season and weather rather than relying on the month. Temperatures are shown in Celsius and Fahrenheit as approximate categories. Personal measurements can be entered in centimeters and kilograms or inches and pounds. Tomorrow’s journal date uses your device’s local calendar. The site does not collect location to select a forecast, and dress codes remain specific to your setting.

Personal details and local storage

Height and weight are optional. Outfits, preferences, journal entries and checklist state are saved in the current browser, without cross-device synchronization. These fields are not submitted to an outfit database. Clearing personal preferences does not remove outfits or plans; plans can be deleted individually, and the checklist has a reset button. Clearing this site’s browser data removes its local records, with no cloud backup to restore.

Visiting the site still makes network requests to its hosting service and may request external fonts. Photographs load as site assets and do not require personal details to view. The site currently has no clothing sales, paid ranking or affiliate shopping links.

Real photography and credits

The photographs come from Unsplash and Pexels. Each outfit detail retains its photographer credit and source link. They are photographic references, not generated models presented as real people. Appearance does not establish fabric composition, weather resistance, garment size or comfort. Images are used under the Unsplash License; depicted people and brands do not imply endorsement.

The expanded wheel pairs each built-in outfit base with a specific photograph, not a keyword-selected substitute. Weather, fit and occasion adaptations are clearly described in the preview. Some photographs show a key outer layer or a cropped outfit; the caption identifies what is visible. Custom outfits retain a reference image. Photographs do not verify material composition, comfort, waterproofing or insulation.
