An outfit for a gallery visit and coffee
A gallery visit can mean more standing than walking. A café stop adds time seated and a place to take off a jacket. Keep the visual idea you enjoy, and plan the outfit around how you will move through the visit rather than how it looks in a single photo.

Put the hours on your feet first
Start with shoes you already trust for standing on hard floors, then choose trousers or a skirt with a clear hem. Wide trousers can give an outfit a strong shape; check they do not trail over your actual shoes. A simple top under a jacket gives you an easy change for a warm room.
Keep the detail where it will stay comfortable
A shaped jacket, a muted color combination or a bag in a contrasting shade is enough to set the mood. If you carry a large bag, check the venue’s bag rules ahead of time. A smaller bag can be easier in a crowded room, but make sure it still holds what you will need for the rest of the day.
Rehearse the pace
Wear the shoes while standing in one place for a few minutes, then walk and sit. If one spot on the foot feels pressured before you leave, take the more familiar pair. Pick the jacket based on the walk between stops, with a plan for where it goes inside.
